That summer vibe is slowly seeping into everything in my world. My kids are celebrating endless school graduations while soccer games and pool time dominate our world and we are relaxing into movie time more often than not. Our most recent watch was Eurovision, a silly mishap-filled take on the European song contest starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as quirky Icelandic singers. It also means that lots of espadrille-making is happening! You all are blowing me away with your beautiful shoes. (Be sure to check out my You Made Shoes highlight on Instagram. I try to highlight all the espadrille makers that tag me and it is a constant source of inspiration!) A few new things have hit the shop as well so a shop update is long overdue.
I’m also SO excited to introduce the most wonderful red fabric to the kits. Not only is this the most magnificent vibrant ruby color but it’s also an organic cotton/hemp blend. Grab a kit with this luscious, vibrant textile here.
As with our earlier release, these are all prints originally designed by the inimitable Jen Hewett and used to create the iconic Fringe Supply Co. bag. They also happen to create stunning espadrilles! These are gone when they are gone as it’s the last of this fabric. Grab the unique Lines kits here and an Olive or Seaglass print in these kits here!
I will now return to lounging in the sun and dreaming about my next project. I hope I have inspired you to add shoe-making to your list!
